| Pope Francis has appointed a new leader, Archbishop Bernard Hebda, for the archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis in Minnesota, where mismanagement of clergy sexual abuse cases led to the dual early resignations of the former archbishop and an auxiliary bishop last June. |
